During these trying and scary times with COVD-19 circulating the globe, it is important to take all measures possible so we can keep ourselves healthy. There are several supplements and products that can be taken to increase immune strength and promote wellness.

1) Eat more fruits and vegetables than normal!

Fruits and vegetables are important during time of illness because they provide essential nutrients that help boost the immune system. The recommended amount of vegetables should be 2-4 servings and 1-2 servings of fruits per meal. But it is important to note that variety is KEY!

2) Consistent exercise

Everyone knows that exercise is important for staying healthy, but especially during flu/cold season. Exercising has shown countless benefits in terms of keeping the immune system at peak function and promoting over all health. Even when we sweat, toxins and other unwanted substances leave the body through our pores.

3) Adequate hydration

This is probably the simplest of all the tips. Staying hydrated throughout the day will help your cells function more efficiently. If your cells are functioning the best they can, then your body overall will be able to defend itself. Along with this you will be able to expel other toxins through your urine.

4) Organic Apple Cider Vinegar in water

This has been a hot topic over the past several years, but the true benefits of this amazing supplement are unknown. But it has shown to boost the immune system and help fight against many illnesses. Further research is required and is suggested before buying, but the benefits are there!

5) Get outside!

During self-isolation and these times of uncertainty it is important to think of all the ways we can still enjoy life without being around larger groups of people. Getting outside for walks, hikes, runs, etc. is incredibly important for not only the fresh air but also mental sanity. Enjoy the world around us instead of sitting inside and anxiously awaiting more news. The sun provides vital vitamin D, which also improves immune defense. The fresh air can help filter out your lungs and improve mood.

These tips are just starting points for everyone to start living life again. This COVD-19 outbreak will be a long-term event, the sooner we can adjust to this the better society will function. Stay safe and healthy everyone!
